The Labor Day Invitational Regatta on Tomales Bay is our premier event of the year. This family affair involves camping on Marshall Beach for three days, where there is no road access, meaning that everything must be taken by boat! During the three days, there are beach activities and sail racing. The regatta consists of five races, four of which will be counted for the Regatta results.
Launch ramp for keel fleet is located at Miller Park.
Additional beach launching site for dinghys is located at Marconi Cove.
Camping will be on the beach in Point Reyes National Seashore.

Boats pre-registerd but did not sail any of the races were not counted by the Race Committee for scoring purposes. 23 boats registerd, but four did not sail; another low turn-out. We were surprised at the few number of Pelicans this year. The weather conditions for Saturday afternoon and sunday were small craft advisories for coastal waters. The racing was very physical and we saw more hull bottoms than usual. Thanks to all who participated.

A special thanks to the support group: Mark Madigan coordinated with the Pt. Reyes Nat'l Seashore and obtained the heads. Steve Sarsfield was the Principle Race Officer assisted by Penny Bolger, Kathy Kane, Mike Loscotoff. Jessica, and Ellen,. A super thank you to the Sea Scout ship ORION for providing the back-up rescue boat and additional crew members. Mike Bolger ordered the trophies. The club thanks all who participated in the pot-luck hors d'oeuvres.

We look forward to seeing you at our 2010 Labor Day Regatta.
